About the author

Hi, I'm Denys Balykhin

Multi-instrumentalist and percussion teacher. I've lived and breathed music for over 20 years, and for the last 10 I've helped people find their sound through tongue drum and handpan.

I built the Daome course with a simple goal — to move away from scattered YouTube lessons and copying other people's patterns. My approach is built on understanding the physics of sound, correct hand positioning, and a feel for rhythm.

You don't need to read music here. We go step by step, from your very first touch to the moment you just sit down, close your eyes, and start improvising freely.
